This happens…every year…word for word. Dunstable here I come!
Avoiding this evening on Long Island this year. I’m being responsible and running a 5 miler the next morning. #whendidibecomeresponsible

I’m doing weekly posts for lalawag now. They’re a sexy little blog about LA’s tech scene.
I get a certain fulfillment from having my words placed on such a classy-looking website, especially next to an ad for Frank Sinatra.

excerpt from my Geek Gift Guide for 2009:
Keep in mind that geeks aren’t always just about gadgets, we appreciate good design and clean lines, there are food geeks, and fashion geeks, tea geeks, all kinds.
So pay attention to the geek that you are shopping for, many times the best choice is the one you wouldn’t expect, the one that comes from the heart.
The Comcast Holiday Spectacular in 3-D
The Comcast Holiday Spectacular is back for a second year, and it’s better than ever. You probably thought that last year’s show was plenty impressive, with aerial views of nighttime Philly and a sweeping trip through a snow-covered forest. Well, this year you’ll get all that, but it will be in vibrant 3-D.
This year’s Holiday Spectacular will be shown at the top of each hour (expect at 5 p.m. on weekdays, so that all those folks who work at Comcast can exit the building unimpeded), starting on Thanksgiving Day and running through New Year’s Day. Attendants will be stationed at the various entrances into the building, handing out free 3-D glasses.
This year, Comcast has partnered with the United Way of Southeastern PA to encourage people to help fight hunger this holiday season. At the beginning and end of each showing of the Holiday Spectacular, Shaquille O’Neal appears on the screen and invites people to donate $5 to the United Way by texting “Philly” to 864833.

Currently I am living in a 1br with 2 roommates. I had to move to Philly on such short notice so I am living with a friend and her roommate near the UPENN campus.
